Yes, we offer free advice to anybody with an enquiry. Our offices are open during weekdays, evenings and weekends and we attempt to be contactable at any time for advice or to discuss your requirements.
Each venue or location is different but in all cases we need permission from the land owner and if your location is within 15 miles of an airport (as the crow flies) then we will need permission from the CAA. We will work hard and with you ensure authorisation is granted and all necessary parties are aware. In every case we will contact the local police and fire brigade and if required even speak to the local council or air traffic control and arrange to stop or divert planes around your display!
In all cases we will undertake a site survey and agree with the client the layout of the site and the safety distances. For new venues we will initially use aerial photographs (Google Earth and Google Maps) and speak with the venue to establish a safe firing site and, where/when necessary we will perform a site visit. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the safety distances are guarded and maintained.
